Don't worry about the loss of a blueprint. Eventually things that used to be very hard will be incredibly easy, and new parts of the game will be difficult until you adapt. You'll get better, and stop making the mistakes that lead to death. Sure, losing prints or cells doesn't feel good, but it's all a learning experience. If you enjoy the game, just keep playing and you'll get them all eventually. If you fail, the grenade will be returned to you.Īlso, just in case you don't remember where you got it, Swarm grenade drops from Disgusting Worms, in the Toxic/Ancient Sewers.Įven without the Hunter's Grenade though, this game is all about repetition and skill. If you do it successfully, it will execute the Elite, and drop one of the potential blueprints. Make sure you're positioned so you don't get hit, as it channels for 1.3 seconds and can be interrupted by damage. Pick it up, then get the Elite down to below 40% health and use the Extractor. Throw it at an enemy with an uncollected blueprint (they'll have an icon over their head), and it will transform them into an Elite, and drop another item called a Blueprint Extractor. The grenade is a single-use (per run) item. It shows up in the menu where you spend cells to unlock things and costs 50 and has no description. You can pay 7,500 Gold, or break it (careful, it's 50 curses, not the usual 10!) I got a red mutation blueprint that just shows Deprecated a little while after getting started with the 1.1 patch. There will now be a new room in the Prisoner's Quarters that's always there which, among other things, contains the Hunter's Grenade behind a curse door. To get the Hunter's Grenade, activate the Specialist's Showroom via the Collector. Just in case you like to figure things out yourself.
